Summer 2021 Original Art Collection
Summer is more than just a season, Summer is about all the feelings and memories that are made during the magical Days of June, July and August. The thought of summer is embodied in these paintings. From hot and sultry days with Wisps of clouds in the sky, this summer inspired pieces capture memories we’ve made with those closest to our hearts.
As I painted these pieces, either on location outside “en plein air'' or in the studio, I thought of you — of your lives, your homes, your own summer vacations, and the lives of those you love the most. Watching these paintings evolve, building up layers of paint and describing a scene, the sense of anticipation was almost overwhelming!
This collection of paintings embodies all of the feelings and thoughts I hold for the magical time of summer. Being outside enjoying time and gatherings with friends and loved ones, looking up into the sky and feeling optimistic. Spending days by the ocean in the sun and heat, building memories and Fueling the present with joy and contentment.
With the flowing of paint and brush across each surface, the sense of anticipation was almost overwhelming! After several months of building and creating, I beheld in these beautiful pieces the culmination of many daubs of color, dreams, and wishes!
