Spring 2021 Original Art Collection
My goal for this collection of paintings is to evoke the feeling of just stepping away from a favorite spot filled with books, flowers, and other items that fill our lives, such as a cup of tea or coffee. Knowing that these details will be there when we return.
Our lives are expressed in the little details, the common observations of routine and pattern. I love celebrating daily life and the simple joys that occur when slowing down and noticing the world we live in.
This collection of original art embodies the thought of spring. The exuberance of new growth, the comfort of exploring warmer weather, and memories we’ve yet to make.
As I quietly painted these pieces, I thought of you – of your homes, of your lives, and of the walls that will now hold each piece of art.
With the flowing of paint and brush across each surface, the sense of anticipation was almost overwhelming! After several months of building and creating, I beheld in these beautiful pieces the culmination of many daubs of color, dreams, and wishes!
I am delighted to share this collection of oil paintings, watercolors, and watercolor line drawings. Spring arrives with all its blooms appearing everywhere, abounding with life, texture, and color! As with all things beautiful, we can’t help but admire, gaze upon, and cherish.
