CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Capturing the beauty of flowers is a wonderful way to connect with the season. In this online course, we will gather together on Zoom to paint, connect and support each other while exploring floral still-life painting. Over five weeks we will work on two floral still-life setups, and each set up will have specific exercises designed to investigate how to lay down paint to maximize the visual effect of depth through edge quality exercises.
Photo references of flowers grown in my garden are provided, for this term we will be painting peonies and roses.
This class is more than just how to paint a specific flower arrangement, instead it’s about teaching you the tools and fundamentals that give you freedom to paint anything you want.
All levels are welcome, a love of flowers and a willingness to try new things is what makes it a joyful experience!
