In early March of this year I was so super excited that my garden was giving me a profusion of flowers. Especially these beautiful, deep hellebore. I had to paint them and celebrate the beginning of the growing season.

I paired these rich flowers with a favorite ginger jar and Ming dynasty porcelain bowl.
