I really love painting children and I am so fortunate that Naomi and her friend’s parents have allowed me to paint them in this piece.

Who does not remember countless hours spent on warm sunny days biking around in summer?

Some of my favorite childhood memories are of me on my bike. It was a fancy pink confection with banana seat and lots of streamers. So I was thrilled two summers ago when I kept seeing Naomi and other kids in the neighborhood ride their bikes on street in front of our house. I kept seeing this and kept thinking, this moment needs to be saved and turned into a painting.
