Autumn Marigolds, 8 x 8 inches
Autumn Marigolds
One of the things I now love about living in Northern Virginia is that I get to experience four distinct seasons, and now that we are at the end of summer I get to enjoy all the flowers that are at their best in late summer, early autumn.
Last year I planted several marigolds from seed in a part of my garden. They thrived. And this summer I have been rewarded with five thriving volunteer marigold plants, where three of them have grown to monsterous size. A gift of nature that I love.
