Night Commuting

I typically walk out of Georgetown into Roslyn in the evenings and keep a steady pace. Tonight I drove into work, so I was stopped at the 34th Street NW stop light. I noticed that a tree was starting to bud and that the fresh shoots were glowing in the light from the traffic. I took this picture to see if it could be captured. Bearly a trace is seen in the photo.

I liked how the buildings were captured, kind abstract and other worldly, so I snapped a few more shots. I really like because of the low lights of the night some of the bright colors seem even more bright.
